You can say that again.

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!" -- Paul McCartney

That's right- next Wednesday is Groundhog Day. Gotta break out the movie. "Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today."

Man, I love that movie. Thanks for the reminder Walrus!

Can't Disagree, but a question Zig. Has the radio gotten any better up in Maine?

I couldn't tell you. I haven't listened to the radio in at least 3 months. I completely gave up on it after hearing Dude (Looks Like A Lady) for the bazillionth time. I got tired of screaming at the radio, "they had a lot better stuff before the 80's ya know!!!"

What?! That's just crazy! Luckily my dad has a cd of them with that song on it, so I can still hear it.

Does anyone know why they were banned from the radio?

They Claim an anti Homosexual slur is used that is offensive in this age, even though My Classic Rock Station has played it since 1985. Stupid CBRC (the People who banned the song). It's a great song

Seriously? That is why they banned it? If they listened to all the pop stations they would ban alot of those songs as well, lots of those slurs if you aske me. No wonder I haven't heard the song on the radio in a long time.

Yeah, it's from a slur.  I would think they could at least edit that word out, even missing a few words, it's better than Justin Beaver.
