OfflineMartha My Dear… gah!
I always feel if I actually admit a favourote song, I come to regret it in a few days as one has replaced it by then! But, I dunno, this one lasts for me- it's a song I can literally listen to many times in a row and not tire of it.
Grrrrr… we need an ultimate top 20 list…

You've gotten me hooked on Martha My Dear with the amount of times you've posted about it. It is probably my favorite on disc one now. And yeah it's a tough question, but the first three I thought of were Norwegian Wood, Sun King and Ticket To Ride so at least I have it narrowed down a bit…I think.

Hi
,
another song I love is 'Tomorrow Never Knows', it's brilliant. They got the idea for song from the Tibetan 'Book of the Dead' and do the 'Mantra chant' through it. I believe it was largely George's influence through his interest in Eastern Mystic music.

Welcome Mal!
I have always thought Tomorrow Never Knows was one of the coolest Beatles songs! I have an even crazier mix of it. The standard mono and stereo mixes of this track are quite similar to
each other, however this mix has a louder vocal track by John, which is heard
more clearly over the effects. The fade-out is also slightly longer on
this version and there is some piano heard in the fade-out that is not
apparent on the common versions. The effects are also faded up a bit
differently. This version was actually released on a select first few editions of the British Revolver (mono) LP. Check it out here if you like.

Sun King is most definetly my favourite in the medley… in my top 5 favourite too!

OfflineFor me, this question is quite simply impossible. At the moment, I'm really digging some tunes off the original Yellow Submarine, like It's All To Much, All Together Now, even Pepperland. I've always loved Only A Nothern Song, maybe it's in my top 30 (which is saying something). Right now, if I HAD to pick a favorite song, it might be Rocky Raccon, as I just bought the remastered version of the white album, and some young kids I help out with really enjoy this song, and we can all have fun together with it. Some other songs that we dance along to are All Together Now, Octopus' Garden, Yellow Submarine, by the way, I picked the songs.

OfflineThanks to iTunes, I don't really have to think about this one (because it would hurt my brain for sure.. so many songs!). According to my iTunes, the most plays are first "Baby's in Black" followed by (only one less play) "She came in though the Bathroom window". Sounds right to me! ![]()

Lol, why not?
I don't have a favorite Beatles song, that's too hard. It's something between Yesterday, Hey Jude, Let It Be, Got To Get You Into My Life, Happiness is A Warm Gun, Something, Here Comes the Sun, For No One, Here, There, and Everywhere, she's Leaving Home, Yellow Submarine, Things We Said Today, Penny Lane, and Strawberry Fields Forever, though it really might not even be any of those.![]()

OfflineIt's usually a fight between Tomorrow Never Knows, Rain, Strawberry Fields, I Am the Walrus, and Hey Bulldog (bit of a Lennon man!). Most listened to the past couple of months though has been Revolution [take 20]. Still struggling to get my head around that one. Amazes me it's still in the vault (or on YouTube).
