First:

The Long And Winding RoadIn My Life; an instrumental. Then an instrumental of Let It Be (if I find one). And then the refrain of I'm Only Sleeping.

And the End of the song 'The End'

In the End: 'Goodbye' from the song Mother.

I don't want to spoil the party so I'll go. I would hate my disappointment to show. There's nothing for me here, so I will disappear.

Hahahahaha!

Hey… not to derail, but…

If 909 is post #164, and I'm post #165, wouldn't that make me….

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

If I am shot, The Guns of Brixton. If I drown, London Calling. If I die any other way, Let It Be and Just Like Starting Over.

I tried to think of something powerful and moving… and failed.  "You were given a choice between war and dishonor - you chose dishonor, and you shall have war" - Winston Churchill

If that ever happens to me, I want these 2 songs to be played at my funeral. But knowing my sisters they would say no. They always want to spoil my plans…a-hard-days-night-paul-10

"Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds, "Your Kiss is on my List" by Hall & Oates (my Mom hates that song and she'd probably laugh a little if she heard it at my funeral), "In My Life", "Let it Be" and ending with the end of "The End" would be amazing (sorry, just had to steal that idea!)

As for Beatlessongs I want The Long And Winding Road and Let it Be. Maybe Across The Universe too.

For the rest.. I had a whole list of songs that make me cry but I've lost it. I can only remember Imagine (how predictable) and Annie's song by John Denver (that was played at my grandpa's funeral and it always makes me cry)

I'll be dead so i dont care. Im firmly of the opinion at the moment (and have been for a long time tho it might change when older) that once i'm dead you can throw me in the nearest pit, i trully wont be able to care.

Im signed up to be an organ donor after death so half of me wont be there anyway.

Lapinha, by Baden Powell.

I'm not Brazilian, I don't even really know what the lyrics mean fully; but something about the song speaks to me deeply enough to want it to be my last song.

P.S.:  The version by Sergio Mendes, Brazil 66, is the best.

These are a few that I want played:

- In My Life

- Goodybye Cruel World (Pink Floyd, The Wall)

- Speak To Me/Breathe/Eclipse (PF, Dark Side Of The Moon) – not very funeral-y though

- Time (Same as above)

- Fearless (Meddle)

- an instrumental of Something and then The End

and then I want a Sitar player to play for the rest of the day

I thought about this a long time ago and I wanted it to be played in a particular order and throughout the whole procession.

  1. I'm So Tired
  2. Let it Be
  3. I Don't Want To Spoil The Party
  4. I Want To Hold Your Hand
  5. Baby's In Black
  6. Hello Goodbye
  7. Back In The USSR
  8. I Am The Walrus
  9. Strawberry Fields Forever
  10. In my Life
  11. A Day In The Life
  12. Get Back
  13. Don't Let Me Down
  14. Across The Universe
  15. Two of Us
  16. Long and Winding Road
  17. Because
  18. Help!
  19. Free As A Bird
  20. Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/ The End
  21. I'll be Back
  22. Good Night
  23. Run for you life X[)

Hopefully my funeral will introduce some people to the Beatles lol.

"And in the End the Love you take is equal to the Love you make"
"When I was a robber *Piano Chord* in Boston Place"
"Let's hope this turns out pretty darn good huh"
"Pete may be the best, but Ringo is the star"
Paul:"Don't be nervous John"
John:"I 'm not"

I would like for some Bocelli instrumentals played at my funeral. I feel like having the vocals on the music makes it too overwhelming for the family who has to sit there for seven hours, it makes it harder to tune out.

I'm not 100% certain about this, but I think that I would want "I'll Follow The Sun" and "Long, Long, Long" to be played. Then, and this one might sound a bit strange, "All Together Now". "All Together Now" would probably make at least one person smile (this person was the one who introduced me to that particular song).
