Ok this is weird because I literally had this conversation with two friends just yesterday. SO here's my list

Not in particular order - I'm still working on that

In My Life - Beatles

The Curtain Falls - Bobby Darin (but Kevin Spacey version)

I'll See You In My Dreams (Joe Brown arrangement)

Soft Is The Rain (this is a Christian song but you should give it a listen some time)

I'll Follow The Sun (I just added thanks to Fool in a field of Strawberries post above)

that's it.

And I'm 56 so planning such things starts getting pretty real.

I would want Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da for my death party thing

Never say never, cause it's never 'never'

This is a very sad topic for me, as I had a friend once tell me as we were riding in her car listening to the radio that she wanted Oasis' "Live Forever" played at her funeral. She died a few years ago of cancer, and it was not a wish I'd ever expected to fulfill for someone so young.

Her best friend made sure it was played at the wake, and I couldn't stop crying.

Beware of sadness. It can hit you. It can hurt you. Make you sore and what is more, that is not what you are here for. - George

Sorry to hear that, parlance. I imagine she would've been happy it was played heart

Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.
