OfflineDo you mean the 'Can you take me back' song, or the conversation that follows it (actually part of Revolution 9)? If the latter, it's a conversation between George Martin and Alistair Taylor (Brian Epstein's former assistant):
Taylor: …bottle of claret for you if I'd realised. I'd forgotten all about it George. I'm sorry.
Martin: Well, do next time.
Taylor: Will you forgive me?
Martin: Mmm, yes.
Taylor: Cheeky bitch.

OfflineIncidentally, "Can you take me back" was recorded during the I Will session with the same line-up: http://www.beatlesbible.com/so…..gs/i-will/
There's a full version of the song doing the rounds – only a small part was used on the White Album. Have this:

I don't remember him saying it TO his Fictional Irish Grandfather, just ABOUT his Fictional Irish Grandfather.

Yes. This was one of Paul's songs (respectively recorded at the I Will session). The working title for Cry Baby Cry was actually Cry Baby, Can You Take Me Back? with the extended version of CYTMB at the end.

Countdown till Paulsbass shows up and insists that it's PAUL doing that "monsieur monsieur" bit! 10…9…8…
Wow, silliest comment I've read here in a while – and that includes you, Matt! ;-)
Why should I insist on that? It's as obviously John as it is Paul on "A day in the life". Don't make me responsible for your own problems.
Maybe the apple blocking your avatar's sight is blocking you as well…

OfflineCongratulations Matt:
Now you have the "silliest-posting" crown back!
Edit: Ha, tell you what:
After this ridiculous number of postings of yours I just noticed how fitting your avatar is! Well done!!
And maybe you'd be so nice to change your signature sometimes. I use four-letter-words as well, but being confronted with that ugly picture and the nasty line after every of your postings doesn't make it easier to enjoy someone flooding the board with comments.

Again, I have tried to be respectful of you but you have come off as disrespectful. Without further ado, I don't give a shit what you have to say.
