Great find. I've always tried to find this. Would love to hear the complete song to hear all the words/chords/guitar licks

I would love to reply to you all personally but I just haven't enough pens!   We hope you've enjoyed listening to our records, as much as we've enjoyed melting them!

This is why I love Youtube. a-hard-days-night-george-10  The description says it's from the CD Live at The Star Club, Hamburg.  I don't have that one, but maybe it has a longer version?

According to Wikipedia, that song isn’t on there. Effing anthology, how dare you tease us with an amazing song that we CAN’T HAVE! I mean, it’s not even on the Anthology CDs!

Hm.  Hopefully when/if Paul gets to release Carnival Of Light, he'll see it and think, "Well, they already heard some of this song, might as well release it too," if it still exists anyways. a-hard-days-night-paul-7

I can't see/play youtube videos here at work. Is that "My gal is red hot/Your gal ain't doodly-squat!"?  That's a great song!

Indian music can't be listened to the same way you hear rock and roll. You cannot do 'Yea Yea' and 'Go Man Go' - Ravi Shankar

Not "unknown", but there are a lot of early Beatles songs that are really good that get overlooked, particularly the covers.  "Anna".  "Chains."  "A Taste Of Honey."  "She's Got the Devil In Her Heart."  "Kansas City."  "Long Tall Sally."

You can't help but sing along with these gems.

I believe Red Hot is from the Star-Club recordings, but it cut off halfway (the tape ran out, I presume) through so wasn't included on that release.

Please don't spoil my day; I'm miles away

Can buy me love! Please consider using these links to support the Beatles Bible: Amazon | iTunes

I just listened to the Please Please Me album while getting ready for work this morning,  Mr_K. And you're absolutely right.

With the lone exception of a dot of shaving cream in the mouth, it was most enjoyable to sing along with.

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.

Ew, nasty! 😛

I'm going to submit "There's a Place." I really like this song, but I'd never heard of it before we got Please Please Me

Blue Jay Way is an interesting, but bad, song.
