I really wish they'd left John and George's harmony on "Can't Buy Me Love". I love the final version, but I think the harmony gives the song a lot more soul.

I consider Help! to be the last vestiges of the early Beatlemania era, and it's inclusion as the final track acts like a nice send-off to the old "rock and roll" days. A nice bit of nostalgia before moving onto bigger things in the next two albums. I find that "Run For Your Life" serves a similar function on Rubber Soul, for the group's folky country & western stuff.

There arent many times, i'd be struggling for 2, when they got it wrong when working out the tracklisting but Dizzy Miss Lizzy as the last track on Help! is wrong. In truth it doesnt belong or fit on the album. Maybe they should have just bit the bullet and put on Yes It Is (not sure that would have worked but there arent many options from that period, folk will ...

Their original idea for the album was for it to be something reflecting back on Liverpool. They recognised as soon as they lost those two tracks that they had lost the central tracks they had for that idea, hence the birth of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
