Are you saying you think it’s number is too high or too low? (since a high number ranking means we like it less)

Half of what I say is meaningless...

I feel good in a special way, I'm in love and it's a sunny day

I’d like to point out for Faceo that this is where the results should be discussed to keep this thread relatively cleaned up and make the results easy to view.

Where are the next set of results, @IveJustSeenAFaceo? It’s been two weeks since the last set. I’m going to have died at the ripe old age of 99 by the time we reach the top 10 the way this is going!

May I suggest a new set is posted every five days, and that @Ahhh Girl posts on the 6th day if you’re unable to for some reason? This has got to start moving at a more regular rate.

It’s getting tiresome having to keep asking for the results.

I emailed Faceo the next list to post 6 days ago.

Faceo, are you still interested in carrying through with this project?

SURPRISE ATTACK

120. She’s A Woman (good song, but exactly where it belongs on this list)
119. Revolution 1 (the lesser version of Revolution . The backing vocals are nice, but overall it just lacks the punch of the main version)
118. Martha My Dear (I personally love this. It’s a lot of fun. I also love how the hook is repeated with different instrumentation each time)
117. Julia (Beautiful.)
116. For You Blue (Fun. Paul’s version from *Concert for George* is great)
115. Don’t Let Me Down (Should probably be higher. Nice hook)
114. I’m Down (One of the great early Paul screamers)
113. The Night Before (One of the first Beatles songs that got stuck in my head for days)
112. The Fool On The Hill (Great song, very nice instrumentation)
111. Baby’s In Black (Really? Absolutely baffling presence this high. One of their weakest songs, IMO)

All of theses songs need to be MUCH higher!

We’re back, and with minimal delay!

100. Penny Lane (certainly a surprise, one of the most loved songs)
 99. A Day In The Life (I suppose all the argument over the Aahhhhhs just sunk it)
 98. Hey Jude (It’s really just too long)
 97. Revolution (Eh, it’s good, but the other two versions are far better. Especially Revolution 9 . What a masterpiece)
 96. She Said, She Said (I guess you guys aren’t a fan of snarling guitar riffs)
 95. A Hard Day’s Night (who wants a song to open with a giant chord? Ease us in next time, guys)
 94. The Abbey Road Medley (Way too long)
 93. You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away (So very boring. John, you’re really not Bob Dylan)
 92. Octopus’s Garden  (What do you guys have against Ringo?)
 91. Nowhere Man (Agreed here. Harmonies suck)

Happy April Fool’s, everyone! Here’s the real list:

100. You Won’t See Me (One of the first deep cuts I ever really liked)
 99. The Word (I’m not nearly as much of a fan of this one as You Won’t See Me )
 98. Polythene Pam (My personal favorite section of the Medley. It’s ferocious. Ringo extremely on point here.)
 97. Lovely Rita (From Sgt. Pepper ‘s, great song.)
 96. It’s Only Love (Pretty darn boring song, IMO. There’s really just not much going on)
 95. Good Day Sunshine (Fun. Energetic, really feels sunny)
 94. Fixing A Hole (One of my favorites. The harpsichord is fantastic, and there’s some wicked guitar licks)
 93. Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey (speaking of wicked guitar, the opening chords here are absolutely iconic)
 92. You’re Going To Lose That Girl (I like this one. It’s a great pop song)
 91. Birthday (The razor sharp guitar riffs return. Incredible work from all 4 members here, great song)

I emailed Faceo 6 days ago to ask him if he was going to post the next list. He said to give him a day or two and he would do it. I just emailed him again. If he doesn’t post it by tomorrow evening, I will.

Fellow BeatleBiblers, I’d like to vote, how/where can I do it? I came across this thread just today. Thanks.

@Oudis, the voting in this ranking effort is now closed. It has been over for quite a while actually. It has just been a long process of getting the results posted. The person who wants to be in charge of posting the results hasn’t stayed on top of it.

There has been talk of doing another round one day…or coming up with a different method for voting. We will make sure we do plenty of announcements if/when we vote again.

To all, since this had dragged on for so long, should I just go ahead and post the remaining songs? Or, I can post 10 every other day. What say ye?

Sure! I could use Google docs to make a poll that works on a scale from 1-10 for each song and people have to put their username at the bottom of the list then I PM them to concern that they voted. (You don’t need Google account to vote)

I still stand by the opinion that it Faceo’s project so until he says otherwise it should remain in his hands. That no doubt wont sit right with others but since the question has been asked…

@meanmistermustard I’m afraid I have to disagree. I have never considered the poll to be Faceo’s property. What is the title of this thread, “The Results of the Ultimate Forum ranking”. It belongs to the forum. Faceo merely offered to collate the results and publish them. He admitted a need for help in collating the results, but has refused help with publishing the results.

This poll should be done regularly, allowing new members to have their say. That cannot be done if the results are dragged out over more than a year. I like Faceo, but I’m afraid I feel he has let the forum down on this one. I’m hoping to see more of him here once this is done and dusted, and so my opinion is, to paraphrase, it’s time to put this limping dog of a poll out of its misery.

Myself and @Starr Shine? will soon be launching a new poll to allow newer members a voice. It would be a shame to see these results still dribbling out after they have been superseded by our poll.

@Ahhh Girl my suggestion would be, publish 90 to 51, a week later publish 50 to 21, a week later publish 20 to 11, a week later publish 10 to 4, a week later publish the top 3 every other day.
