Always loved the lines:  "….the movement you need is on your shoulder."   and  "…picks up the rice in a church where a wedding has been; lives in a dream."

As far as funeral music goes: my loved ones all know that it better be Beatles……or I'll come back and HAUNT THEM ALL!!!!blue-meanie

Good line. I'm going to tell that to my nephew. Actually I'm considering in having "Fixing a hole" song so when my friends asks "Why that song?" my family says "Oh we put her there because she's fixing a hole".

New to Beatles Bible, but I have a few I'd like to mention.

"I was alone, I too a ride, I didn't know what I would find there. Another road where I could see another kind of mind there."

"Your voice is soothing. I can not hear. Your lips are moving, but the words aren't clear."

"Each day just goes so fast. I turn around; it's past. You don't get time to hang a sign on me."

All just pure poetry, but my personal favorite, in entirety (minus choruses):

"I've got a word or two. To say about the things that you do. You're telling all those lies about the thing that we can't have if we close our eyes. I left you far behin the ruins of the life that you have in mind. And though you still can't see, I know your mind's made up you're going to cause more misery. Although your mind's opaque, try thinking more if only for your own sake. And though the future still looks good. You've still got time to rectify all the things that you should."

"It's getting hard to be someone, but it all works out." (Strawberry Fields)

"You could find better things to do than to break my heart again." (I'll Be Back)

"Lay down all thought, surrender to the void.  Is it shining?" (Tomorrow Never Knows)

"With our love we could save the world, if only they knew." (Within You Without You)

You don't have a thing for John, now, do you? At least a mind-thing? (I know I do.)

EDIT: I was taking the CAPTCHA (Thanks, Mo- I mean, Joe.) and the sum required was 1 and 2. You know you're a hardcore Beatles fan when you think, "That really should be phrased, 'What is the sum of: 1 + 1 + 1?'"

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

I think that's the first time I've seen an off-topic comment that could be considered on-topic.

Nicely done M3.

"Close your eyes and I'll kiss you. Tomorrow I'll miss you. Remember, I'll always be true." I like it because of the way Paul is expressing his devotion to whoever he's kissing, and that he's trying to get one last kiss to remember when he's gone.

Jeweler, you've failed.

I'm a huge George fan so my favorite line is defiantly Something from "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" Probably "I'm sitting here doing nothing but aging" "Or i look at the world and notice its turning" Or "And of course Henry the Horse dances the waltz" that than the following part of the songs scares me to death every time i hear it.
