OfflineI love so many of them!!
But my favorite two would be…
"You can't cry 'cause you're laughing at me"- I'm Down
And
"Nowhere man can you see me at all?" Nowhere man
I love the first one because its sad yet good in the same way.
Its really true for the second one. If you're blinded by being alone, you might not be able to see.

Offline"Something inside that was always denied for so many years." AAAAAAAH Paul! :'
And then "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" jumps right in.
"We were talking about the people who gain the world but lose their souls." More Pepper, I know, but it's so true!

I agree, except that I don't really think he was blinded by being alone. I like to take the whole verse: "He's as blind as he can be / Just sees what he wants to see / Nowhere man, can you see me at all?" I think he was referring to the fact that (he felt) he was being human, and inherently preferring his point of view. I just love that SONG overall, it might be my very favorite ever. I don't know where I saw this description of the song, but the person describing it called it "John's pessimistic self-portrait."
Since it seems I've been doing one song per Beatle, I'll throw in a bonus:
"We would be so happy, you and me / With no-one there to tell us what to do." It makes me smile and wish I was there, too. I HATE people telling me what to do.
mr. Sun king coming together said And yes, YouTube comments are stupid. But hilariously so.

I love the whole second verse of the song.
"Father snores as his wife gets into her dressing gown,
Picks up the letter thats lying there, standing alone at the top of the stairs,
She breaks down, and cries to her HUSBAND, daddy, our baby's gone,
Why would she treat us so thoughtlessly?
How could she do this to me?"
It just puts you there, I can always see the woman on the stairs in my mind.

Hmm. Are you on a George kick?
I've always been on a George kick. I don't have favorites but if I did he would be my favorite.

OfflineSo many that I love!
"We said our good-byyyyeess (AAAHHHHH The Night Before)
Love was in your eeeyyyyeeess (AAAHHHHH The Night Before)
Now today I fiiiinnnnd
You have changed your miiiiinnnnd
Treat me like you did The Night before." It just sounds great!
I also like Nowhere Man but I like all songs I relate to.
"It doesn't really matter what chords I play
or words I say or time of day
Cause it's only a northern song."
Had the song stuck in my head and havent listened in so long but heard the part in Glass Onion on Love so that part got stuck in my head.

OfflineI heard that the Brits hated the british invasion because it was like taking away something that was theirs away from them. Is that true Joe? Or does everyboby think about it differently? Am I talking too much, should this be in Hey Joe? I'll stop now.

No idea, sorry. I was born in 1976 so I'm definitely a later-generation Beatles fan.
My mum was a fan from the days of Love Me Do. She remembers a French exchange student mentioning The Beatles to her, probably at some point in 1963 or early 1964, and she knew they'd never again be 'her' band – they'd crossed the English channel and would no doubt become even more famous. I'm sure people up and down the country had similar stories, from the Cavern Club fans onwards.

OfflineI think the lyrics to 'Across the Universe' Really affect me. I hated the song when I first heard it but now it's my all time favourite. The first line "words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup" has always been hard for me to understand but at the same time I completely get it, if you know what I mean. The song is so beautiful and I listen to it at least twice a day.

Yeah and it's so cool because there are so many different versions (5 I think) and each one is unique. John's voice is so beautiful and sad in all of them, I almost feel like this song is his dedication to Cynthia in a way, or maybe who he was before Yoko.
