a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 wow I have never heard this version.. though George's voice sounds like shit, it's a good one. I like the guitars. It's a perfect lazy Summer evening, beer-bbq song._Thanks for sharing it!

George had a very severe throat infection/illness, not that i can remember the exact name of it, during the '74 North America(?) tour. Nowadays gigs would have been cancelled and George would have recovered during the break, but he kept going till the endwith his voice getting worse and worse.

For a variety of reasons, one  being the altering of the words of In My Life to show more of George's spiritual side, George and the tour were very heavily slated leading to a deep bitterness and no more gigs until Japan 1991.
