OfflineAnd Your Bird Can Sing and Maxwell's Silver Hammer seem to make me smile. Probably because they sound so light and happy. (Even though for Maxwell's that is not the case with the lyrics.)

Offline"The Night Before." The progression is an intro. That progression is not found anywhere in the song. It sets a great mood for what's to come -- a kind of traveling R&B number you can drive with.
Paul's voice sounds unusually powerful and shredded on this track. It also sounds pasted together from 2 or 4 takes, but that's ok. Also, I think George's backing vocal is clearly heard here, as distinct from Paul's. I like it.
