a-hard-days-night-ringo-8I like the "Yeah? Yeah! Yeah? Yeah!!!!" part. Very cheery.

"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that." "What happens to them?" insisted Milo. "Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars." –The Phantom Tollbooth

Whenever I listen to "Eight Days a Week," I can't help but get a big cheesy smile on my face.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

And Your Bird Can Sing and Maxwell's Silver Hammer seem to make me smile. Probably because they sound so light and happy. (Even though for Maxwell's that is not the case with the lyrics.)

Whatever happened to life that we once knew.? Where did we lose the touch, that seemed to mean so much.? "The Night Before." The progression is an intro. That progression is not found anywhere in the song.  It sets a great mood for what's to come -- a kind of traveling R&B number you can drive with.

Paul's voice sounds unusually powerful and shredded on this track. It also sounds pasted together from 2 or 4 takes, but that's ok.  Also, I think George's backing vocal is clearly heard here, as distinct from Paul's. I like it.
