God, Free as a Bird and Real Love have also made me well up a little. The Long and Winding Road has brought a lump to my throat before, and Dear Friend makes me feel sad in a sort of desolate, bitter way, especially the demo version where you can hear Linda and the children playing and talking in the background.

Not surprising it brings home George and John's loss to you.

The first few listenings of Here Today hit me, still does at times. Paul is very honest and upfront in how he feels and it results in one of his best songs ever. A very fitting tribute to John. And once again George Martins score is not overly burdensome.
