Let's see, fifteenth time now. Mith, I found it slightly amusing that I saw that clip in a NYC hotel room. But yes, New York is forever linked to the Beatles, in a way no other North American city is.

one moment of a song that got a tear out of me was the line in Don't Let Me Down: "I'm in love for the first time"
I've never loved or been loved.
I agree…there's something so strong about that part in Don't Let me Down…"..It's a love that lasts forever, it's a love that has no past.."
Also, "Real Love", "Long, Long, Long", and There's just something about "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End" especially when it goes into the "I never give you my pillow…" reprise to "You Never Give Me Your Money"..especially if you watch the concert with Paul and Linda singing this with Wings. The sheer emotion in the reaction from the crowd to the whole medley, especially that part, just draws a tear.
uhhh…oh yeah I'm new here!
just love discussing all things Beatles

Welcome to the Beatles Bible! If you haven't already, introduce yourself: http://www.beatlesbible.com/forum/getting-better/introduction-thread/page-57/
They've all already been said, but that's just a testament to how emotional they really are:
"Imagine"- I've cried too many times to this song. John…
"Here Today". Probably one of the saddest songs of all time
"Real Love". That makes me happy/sad cry. I dunno, it's a beautiful song… I just love John in that one.
Pretty sure I've had my fair share of moments with "In my Life" as well…

OfflineWhen I saw Paul in concert this summer, I found myself crying during "All My Loving." It's such a sweet, beautiful song, but it's also so very early-Beatles, you know? Paul sounded so young…I know it's 2011 and he's 69, but if I closed my eyes and just listened to the music, he could almost be 22 again in 1964. I can't really explain what I felt at that moment, but it was somehow a very moving experience.

OfflineI can't remember if I've ever responded to this question, but if I did, oh well. Here Comes the Sun used to frequently make me cry. All Things Must Pass could if I'd let it. Treat Her Gently (Lonely Old People) from Venus and Mars makes me tear up.

OfflineI'll add "A day in the life."
Don't ask, because I don't know…
Maybe it's the way John sings that song…
Or because I'm not in a good time.
Please! Tell me what you think! and I hope you won't laugh haha.

OfflineHere Today i think is the only 1 tho the o2 advert of everyone singing Hey Jude in some place in London was very hard hitting. You could hear the beatles version low in the background being used as the foundations, so not some crappy cover or nonentity leading it.

For me, it has to be a combination of the song and an event that is either happening or has come to memory. For example, I know I'm gonna lose it on November 29 when I play All Things Must Pass (and I will).

I'll listen to George the whole day… I can't believe he's not here anymore. 10 years have passed. I will cry (again) with beware of darkness…

Please! Tell me what you think! and I hope you won't laugh haha.

OfflineI don't know if I'll be able to listen to any of his music, it might be too upsetting. I didn't listen to anything last year on the 8th for instance. I'm going to go over to the Washington National Cathedral and light a candle for George though. It's less than two weeks…I hate times like this, you can feel them creeping up on you.
