Limitless undying love, which
Shines around me like a million suns,
It calls me on and on across the “Beatles” universe… heart

You are so right,  georgiewood…apple01

A few more to add. Going into some of the Beatles’ solo stuff.

Savoy Truffle :
Can’t get over George’s “Cool cherry cream, nice apple tart…” Brilliant.

Blow Away:
All I got to do, is to, to love you, all I got to be is, be happy”

(Just Like) Staring Over:
But when I see you darling,
It’s like we both are falling in love again,
It’ll be just like starting over – starting over

#9 Dream:
“Seemed so very real, it seemed so real to me

La De Da:
It might not be the best song (I actually enjoy it), but I really like how Ringo sings “Oh, you can bet i never let the things i get get the best of me

Instant Amnesia:
“It’s just like a kiss, you can’t close your eyes, it’s so easy to miss”

Weight of the World:
“Ev’ry heart has a hunger, I’m not getting any younger, I got all the crosses i can bear”

Early 1970:
“Laying in bed, watching tv, cookies!

I Can Bet:
What I’m gonna do next I’ll leave entirely to your imagination

Maybe I’m Amazed :
“Maybe I’m a man, and maybe you’re the only woman who could ever help me

To be or not to be, I don't care
The question is, Are you alive out there?
It don't take brains, Just heart and soul
I think, therefore I rock 'n roll.

Wow, thanks midori — lots of songs for me to look up (either to remind myself or to hear for the first time)!

On #9 Dream, I like a similar part of the song, but different words:

“More I cannot say…  What more can I say…?”

Oh yes, that line as well! There are so many great songs out there. I’m just discovering many of these for the first time myself.

It’s funny, some I just nod, some I’m like “oh yeah, that one!”, some I’m like meh…but the best ones are like “oh wow, I never looked at it like that before.” My first one is one of those, @Ahhh Girl mentioned it in some faraway (or maybe this very!) topic 2 years ago and I think of her every time I hear John’s plaintive cry…

“Is there anybody going to listen to my story..?”

…and a couple more…

“…What they need’s a damn good whacking!”

“…we nearly made it, sitting on the sofa with a sister or two”

Here Comes The Sun – the phrasing, the chord progression alone is one of the most pleasing I’ve heard (the words are really cool too!) – if you want an actual snippet I think  the chords are D/G/A7 (the end of the verse after “it’s allright”).

Mother – just the emoting throughout

“And you’re on your own, you’re in the street”

Maybe it is because of my username, @Matt Busby. John sings Ahhh Girl in the song that starts out with “Is there anybody going to listen to my story..?”

“When are you to take some tea with me.” Sounds wonderful. Same for “Sgt Pepper ‘s one and only Lonely Hearts Club”  from the Reprise.

It’s my favourite bit, such fun to play. (Unless the drummer is drumming in the wrong tempo.)

I think most people prefer the single edit of ‘With A Little Luck’ (on ‘Wingspan’) as most if not all the instrumental section is removed but I love that. There is even a small bit that always reminds me of the ‘Thomas The Tank Engine’ theme.

Oooh I mentioned a few in my last post for Ringo. I could start a thread for him when I listen to some more songs. Ringo needs love, too :3

Here Comes The Sun ” around the 40 second mark, when the string section plays after “since it’s been here”

also, the synthesizer around the 13 second mark going down in pitch, right before George comes in with the Main Vocals.

You’re welcome. It’s quite all right– a common new-member fate (also a common old-member fate, as this forum is so extensive, there’s no possible way you can know it all). Which is why we have loads of friendly helpful people who have spent wayyy too much time wandering aimlessly round old threads (or, in some cases, doing highly efficient and effective searches) to jump in. a-hard-days-night-john-1

Ummm a-hard-days-night-ringo-14 it’s approximately 0:58 seconds in.

Never noticed Paul’s yawn. Will check it out. (How do we distinguish his yawn from that of the others?)

I just supposed it’s Paul. I think you can hear one of them (John, probably) saying “yawn Paul” right before that moment.
