OfflineI totally agree with you Gniknus. I have seen it here in my country, and trust me, change doesn't come with a President, no matter the promises he or she makes.
Excellent post man..

If we're being honest about it, the corporations run our society, not the government.
That's one of the most true things I've ever seen on the Internet.
mr. Sun king coming together said And yes, YouTube comments are stupid. But hilariously so.

Yeah I feel sorry for you down in Mexico. The drug problems down there are being directly caused by the CIA. I recently saw a documentary called The Revolution Will Not Be Televised which I'd recommend anyone with the time to check out on google video. Long story short, it is about Hugo Chavez and the changes he is trying to bring to Venezuela which are in direct conflict with the US government's interests. There was a failed coup d'etat by "some outside force" (guess who), but one of the things Chavez stressed to the Venezuelan people was to actually read the constitution and because of this, the people knew that Chavez couldn't just be overthrown and they were able to get him back into office. Anyway, it just showed me what actually will happen to a President if he tries to bring changes that are not in the best interests of the corporation of the United States. I'd definitely check it out though, it's one of the most fascinating things I've ever seen.

OfflineFirst off, Change can occur with a president. As long as he has support
Secondly, the CIA is dangerous, evil people who
Murder people for no reason
Thirdly, can we keep too much politics off the BB?

OfflineHere is something the kids can learn from. Anyone who has paid even a little attention to the political climate in Mexico knows the challenges faced by their people.
Still, amongst all of that sits our beloved mithveaen in her little corner of Mexico wearing a Sgt. Pepper outfit flashing a peace sign.
If that is not an indication of the human spirit, I don't know what is. Very inspiring.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.

Sure, I'm not trying to force politics onto the fab forum, but we just live in very interesting times. I've been doing a lot of research lately and it's just interesting when you start to make connections. FOR EXAMPLE, Jose Perdomo was an exile from Cuba with ties to the CIA during the 1961 Bay of Pigs operation to overthrow Fidel Castro, and he also worked closely with Watergate burglar Frank Sturgis on the CIA's payroll. He later went on to become a doorman outside of the Dakota apartment, and was on duty on December 8th, 1980. Coincidence or premeditated?

Are you my Uncle in disguise
Just kidding……. Don't scare us with theories that most likely aren't true?

That's a very old and one of the most fearful chinese curses: "hope you see interesting times." Did you know that?

If your uncle's name is AC Slater, then yes, we may be the same person. This is a picture of him/me.
And it's hard not to believe conspiracy theories when the former president of CBS news, Richard Salant, is quoted as saying"Our job is to give people not what they want, but what we decide they ought to have."

I had heard that saying, I don't know if I agree with it though. In interesting times, at least there is always something to talk about. And it may just be a coincidence, but it's certainly an odd one at that.
