TinyMCE is the set of buttons (bold, italic, underline etc) you normally see at the top of the window when you compose a message. I think if you choose Standard Textarea in your profile it may work. However, there should be an automatic detect that gives you this when you're on a mobile device. I haven't tested it as I don't have an iPad.
