Here's the perfect place to put all of the Beatles songs you like, but others don't. Call me lazy, but I'd be here all day coming up

with songs, so I'm not going to make a list of my own.a-hard-days-night-ringo-15

BeatleMania99, I think this thread exists somewhere on this site; but maybe not.

Once upon a time, there was a clear, hands-down winner to this question - at least in the U.S.: "Hey Bulldog."

It appeared in the Yellow Submarine album, arguably their worst (American) release. There were all of 4 new songs, and the rest were "old" songs or uninteresting orchestral music.

The new songs were by and large throw-aways, as the Beatles had no interest in a Beatle cartoon.

Few people bought the album, and therefore few people heard the song.

In the US, it wasn't even in the movie.

Now of course, every Beatle song has an equal chance of being heard, so the playing field has been leveled.

The runner up would be "Things We Said Today," and for essentially the same reason: in the U.S. it only appeared on the album Something New (an ironic title considering there was hardly anything new - and for that reason was never a major seller compared to other Beatle releases).

There are a few of these threads, one being Unbelievably Underrated Beatles Song. Others include albums, songs on certain albums (pepper, Abbey Road, revolver), overrated and underrated bands.

He told us not to get overwhelmed by grief and whatever thoughts we have... to keep them happy, because any thoughts we have of him will travel to him wherever he is. (John Lennon - 27/8/67)

I'm pretty sure "Good Night" (the final track for The White Album) should be placed at no. 1 here.
