Helter Skelter is terrifying, agreed. And he was hoping that would get him elected president?

Obama's taxation is nothing like Wilson's, everyone but the highest earners are paying less under him than they were under Bush, and the highest earners aren't being taxed at 95%. I still found it hilarious.

And on that note, I enter this. Do Republicans (GOP) realise that Eisenhower taxed the rich at 90%? Or Nixon at 70%? Obama just wants it back to 40% on the top 1%. Why is that so hard?

I'm sure many of them do, but the pressure from the Tea Party is immense.

It is terrifying to imagine that a conservative candidate has to appeal to that lot in order to get elected and serve a second term.
