What are some crazy things you've heard instead of the actual lyrics?

For me, the first time I heard "And Your Bird Can Sing," I thought the line "and your bird can swing" was "and your bird can scream." So that's what I sing when it comes up on my mom's iPod.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Well other than She Said She Said, which is still bothering me because the more times I hear it the more it sounds like belong, I'm Only Sleeping has a line I've always gotten wrong. "Running everywhere at such a speed," I always thought was "grumbling everywhere at such a speed," but I suppose they both work.

I always had trouble with the lyrics of I've Got a Feeling, in Paul's screaming bit. I know them now, but I had no idea what he was saying, ahaha

Well at the ending of I Am the Warlus i always hear "Everybody smoke pot,everybody smoke pot" instead of "Everybody's got one,everybody's got one"

And the banker never wears a mac in a pouring rain… Very strange…

I've heard a bunch of people say that, kadikas! Mostly on YouTube, though.

On a semi-related topic, I recently got an e-mail message from an idiot claiming that "the Beetles" were putting backwards messages into their songs. Of course, the only "backwards message" I've heard is at the end of "Rain!" (Also in the middle of "It's All Too Much," but I don't know what George says. I think it's backwards.) I kind of think that the people who waste their time looking for messages in songs played backwards should stop and start wasting their time looking for messages in songs played forwards! But that's just me. a-hard-days-night-paul-11

As a non native English speaker I misunderstood the lyrics all the time.. but that's normal so I doesn't count. But I've always misunderstood as part of the lyrics (and I've mentioned before I guess) is when John says "Oh" in the middle of Hey Jude!. I always sing that Oh.

The lyrics I always find impossible to sing (I don't know why) is "Nobody was really sure if he was from the House of Lords". I just can't make my entonation match John's, one day I repeated the line until I got it, but the next day I had totally forgotten how to sing it. I can sing Helter Skelter or Help! without catching my breath, but that damn line is just impossible.

Mh. A Day in Life. Now I think about it, I always sing like "I went downstairs and drank a Coke" (as a soda) instead of "drank a cup". And I *know* it's "a cup".
