I don’t get how you get it to start. It talks about entering a code to start it, but doesn’t say what the code is or where to find it. I’ve sent the creator an email asking if they could explain how it works.

Offline I have had a reply, and have just tried Across The Universe 1 and, despite a few glitches, got it to work. Here is what Darin said, “a window with a quiz should show up on the screen, you may have to use chrome or ie…there have been firefox issues…once that displays its pretty easy…click a song name and blanks will show up then you type words in the enter box. the quiz itself is a large black adobe flash box in the middle of the web page.” I was attempting it on Firefox before and just seeing a big blank. Works fine on Chrome.

Offline I don’t know what to suggest. I just tried it on IE (first time I’ve used since I got this laptop!) and it worked. Same with Chrome. Annoying really as, despite a few things I would have done differently, it’s not a bad game at all. Maybe PM the OP and ask if he can help. He got back to me pretty fast when I dropped him an email yesterday.

Offline Hope it does. Only thing I would say/warn is that you get a lot of words by default. You can start with any song, it fills in the words in all, but the obvious start is Across The Universe . And then the obvious first word to enter is “words”. But it take any valid combination of letters automatically. So, before it takes “words”, it takes “wo” and “word”. Took me a little while to realise why I’d typed “rds”. As a hint I’d get rid of the obvious little words first that begin other words – “a”, “an”, “the”, “he”, things like that.
