Note added by Ahhh Girl 22 April 2014: The actor who made the original post to start this thread deleted all of his comments in the thread. He had the username "Martha". This information will help you understand the remainder of the thread.

You want us to tell you what color pick he used? Even we're not that good.
I'm not sure what key it's in. I've never heard it (according to oJoe's page, it's the only Decca song that hasn't been issued commercially)

I think you're fine. No one who watches is going to say "Oh, the color of that pick is wrong"

Question: Your name is Martha and you're playing Paul?

Good luck with the TV thing. Is it local or could we watch it somewhere?

The correct key is in E. Some 80's bootlegs have the songs incorrectly pitched up by a half-tone.

This is the song in its correct pitch:

Good luck with the programme and your career. Are you able to give us any details about the programme or it is all hush hush.

And despite this maybe sounding empty and strange, thank you for doing a bit of research - the amount of folk who've messed up Beatles shows due to ridiculous errors is incredible so nice to see someone putting a bit of effort into their role.

Having Paul left-handed is certainly a start.

I don't generally watch ITV aside from old episodes of Morse and Cheers and their football coverage (if you have any influence can you get them to ditch their rotten commentatorsblue-meanie) but this is the Beatles so will give it a look. Beware however, us Beatle fans can be quite scathing over TV dramatisations; I still get annoyed about that Magical Mystery Tour press conference in Lennon Naked (tho the whole thing stank).

Too bad I'm in America, so no ITV for me.

What's really sad is that the guy playing Paul is absolutely fantastic as Moriarty in Sherlock. What a horrible portrayal here though.

Holy crap, the guy playing John was the freaking NINTH DOCTOR! These guys are great! How did they all manage to turn in a horrible performance?

EDIT: And Rory Kinnear??? From James BOND????!!!! Dang.

Rory Kinnear is the son of Roy Kinnear, who played Algernon in Help!

The family resemblance is inescapable. Like John and Julian, it really is like father, like son...

Roy was also in How I Won the War with John.
