Pretty good chart lists, Think its amazing how The Beatles are the top artist. And no offense to the fans, but I cannont stand Lady Gaga, I listened to the song 20 seconds, and had to turn it off.

Honestly, to me, no surprises... the only song in the Top 10 I don't like is Yellow Submarine, but I can understand why it's high on the list...

Meh. From what I've found, all the public cares about is the comercialized Beatles songs. It's only real fans that end up getting into others.

Come Together has been used in tv commercials, and for their Rock Band game in particular, so it has some main stream appeal. I bet you could find an ad for each of those songs.

I'm not surprised by "Let it Be" or "Yesterday" because those have been popular since Noah got off the boat. How many times have those two songs been covered and re-covered by other artists?

Nice to see "Here Comes the Sun" getting some recognition, too, although I wonder if that has anything to do with its inclusion on the Bee Movie soundtrack?

Hmmmm Funny. I hav been on last fm on my xbox 360 many times now and I have never cam across 1 Beatles song. Not even on The Beatles Station!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol! If the Beatles are considered uncool, I'd better delete my Elvis Presley plays!

But if that's true, then there is surely a change (and some parts may have to do with the release of Rock Band). The last time I checked, the Beatles are the most played artists in Last.fm, seizing the top place from Radiohead. On the current weekly charts (which carries the 090909 remastered release), the Beatles have 10% more listeners than Muse in the second place and nearly 30% more plays.

It's funny. A while ago I read that The Beatles were the most-deleted artist on last.fm - people didn't want them appearing on their personal charts, as (I guess) they were considered uncool. Maybe that's all changed now.

I can't find the artists link, but deleted songs are here: http://playground.last.fm/unwanted - at the moment The Beatles aren't in sight, but Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson seem to be a bit embarrassing for some.

The top Beatles tracks chart seems about right, I guess. I suppose it'd be dominated by songs on the 1 compilation (ie the singles). As for ...

Out of curiosity, I hunted down the Beatles's charts on Last.fm, to see which are the tracks that are most played today by the general public. The chart is here:

Come Together took the top spot with Let It Be coming second and Yesterday as third. Other songs, such as Strawberry Fields Forever, which seems to be a favourite here, ranks at 18.

Personally, I didn't quite like Come Together. And one of my favourites (which is seldom a favourite of other people), Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, is down at 35. But other songs roughly fit ...
