No idea but that aint no beatle track to my ears. My guess is that the documentary has used an unrelated piece of music - a lot of documentaries do that either because they cant get the rights to the official music and/or dont want to pay a fortune.

IMDeWalrus i think so, it´s a documentary from the history channel since the beginning of the band, until they´ve stopped touring.

That's a piece from "Loan Me A Dime" by Boz Scaggs, with Duane Allman on guitar.  It's long, but it's a great song:

Beatles connexion: Duane also played the gtr solo on the Wilson Pickett cover of "Hey Jude"

Another (and this one is a stretch, I admit) is the fact that Eric Clapton tried to coax Duane away from The Allman Brothers Band after Duane's brilliant work on the album Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs. By now, most of you know who "Layla" really was.

And then there is the fact that both Duane and George Harrison dabbled a bit with Delaney and Bonnie (who didn't?), although I don't believe it was at the same time.

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.
