I also love that pairing.

Hey, to each his own!

For me that is one of the extremely rare repetitive moments in the Beatles catalogue.

It doesn't help that the You won't see me "uuuh-lalalas" are sung in an – interesting way, I think deliberately, but still possibly annoying, especially when the next song contains way better "uh-lalalas".

See, it's as I said: Way too many "Uh-lalalas"! ;-)

Wow, 23!!

I always thought that Getting Better and Hello Goodbye should go together, it's probably because they sound a bit similiar though..!

Am I the only one who actually enjoys the pairing of "You Won't See Me"/ "Nowhere Man?"

I reeeeealy like "Nowhere Man"/"Think For Yourself." :D

Does the Abbey Road medley count?

The AR medley counts if you want it to! That's the great thing about threads like this one – no wrong answers.

As for your YWSM/NM combo, I'll take any pairing at all from that album any day of the week.

Ah, always nice to meet fellow fans! Tell me, you seem like a CSNY fan. Is that correct?

MissLizzy: Your sig, with the umbrellas, has them holding up their favorite colors! Just liked to share.

But I would think…."Rain"/"Paperback Writer" or "I'm Down"/"Long Tall Sally"

I thought George's favorite color was purple and Ringo's was red..

I like Strawberry Fields Forever with Penny Lane. They should've smashed them together for Love!

I thought it was the other way around, Strawberry….

And me too, Nigel! They sound so…cool. I don't know how else to describe it, really.

A very good combo, indeed. They were recorded only about a month apart. Even the videos share the same footage.

Lady Madonna &Hey Bulldog

Joe's article on HB has more details.

Haha, George has the best facial expressions. If he was maaaad, or even just slightly upset, you'd know. But when they start howling like that, it reminds me of my dad and his friend, or as I like to call them, Paul and Paul. They act like such children.

I was playing Abbey Road today, and I just love the medley. I don't think people would ever regard it as their best works as songs alone, but together, it's magical.

It has already been stated before, but I feel it can not ber overstated

how awesome the I Want You (She's So Heavy) and Here Comes the Sun

Collaboration is.  To me, the end of IWY(SSH) sounds like the theme song

to the end of the world, and then the beginning of Here Comes the Sun

sounds like the theme song for what I imagine a heaven would feel like.

So every time the two songs play, I die and go to heaven.a-hard-days-night-paul-11

My thoughts exactly! And that concept is kind of similar to "The End" and "Her Majesty", I think. a-hard-days-night-george-9

I think the pairing of "Revolution 9" and "Goodnight" follows that same idea- this nightmarish, terrifying jumble piece, followed by Ringo calmly singing about the whole world getting ready for bed.

Not back to back, but "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "I Want to Tell You" are forever associated for me.

I have a very long playlist of Beatle songs in no particular order that I would listen to over, and over, and over (literally for 6 hours every day) there are random orderings of songs in my mind. An example:

"Revolution"->"Penny Lane"->"Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"

Edit: Why is my quote thingy going crazy?

Because the wind is high, it blows my mind.

I know that's not how it appears on the album, but I always skip "When I Get Home." Those "whoooah"s always irritate me too much for me to be able to sit through it.

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.
