You think Tomorrow Never Knows is a weak point in the album?
Well like i said it depends how you look at it. Musically, it was innovative and was intriguing.

I suppose TMK isn't the catchiest track in the world, but it's just so incredibly innovative. Look at what they were doing in '63, '64 and even '65 and then compare it to THAT!

Although it's not my absolute favorite song on that album, I've always considered Tomorrow Never Knows a bit of a mystery-there are a great many layers in that song. It never gets old.

I'm still confused, you don't like it because it's innovative? Or because it's not catchy?

OfflineIt's because In their efforts to be inventive and unique They created a sub par song, one of Lennon's worst
It's not that it was Inventive because they were doing something wonderful on Revolver. But the first song they did doesn't come up to snuff

Umm, okay, if you say so. You should check out the special features of the Anthology DVD's, there's a part where

are all in the studio talking about TNK and they are still clearly in awe of the song. The only thing better than TNK is TNK take one!

OfflineTake one is much better. I don't care if every person in this forum and all beatles fan said TNK is amazing. I do relisten to a song to confirm I feel the way I do and TNK is sub par Lennon/Beatles. It is an awe-inspiring song but please stop trying to convince me otherwise as this could because a useless thread
Thanks for posting that take

OfflineWell this comes a theory I have about Internet and fans.
There will be someone who will not like something that it's considered a masterpiece, and that won't be a bad thing. Just a different opinion.
Mr. Sun King,
here's an apple for you man
I just can't decide which song of Revolver it's my favorite. I love the whole album. I sometimes skip Dr. Robert… but that's it….

OfflineChanges every so often, but at the moment 2 songs I rarely seem to skip are I'm Only Sleeping and I Want To Tell You. The rest are still great, but I find that I listen to these the most. I noticed that Dr. Robert is some peoples least favourites, and I would probably agree except the "well well" part with the harmonium really brings it up so I quite like it.
