I work in retail as well.

I work at a grocery store that also has a gas station ( or a petrol station ) and in the past I have had to work out there. I have spent alot of those lonely hours singing Beatle songs. I try my best to sound like them and I do the music parts as well. I think my best John is Its only Love, Paul is probably For No One, George is I Need You or Taxman and Ringo would have to be With a Little Help From My Friends.

Hey, It could be really amusing to make a cover of Revolution 9! Someday I will try it!

Let's see... I have a piano, my brother's cymbals, Audacity installed... oh, Internet connection... Weekends... My bandmates (two girls, for the femenine voices, yeah!). Maybe a mp3 recorder to compile some samples will be of use.

And there's a lot of info about the sounds John compile and the tracks and timing used, that could be used as the "score".

I was actually working on a game-stall, so to be honest, people would bother me quite alot. But there were days when it would be quiet, so I would fill the empty hours with singing the Beatles songs. I enjoy all those songs, but then there are certain songs that I enjoy singing, like Things We said Today, where I just don't want to be interupted.
