OfflineTricky because some B sides are really "double A" songs: Day Tripper, Strawberry Fields.
Revolution might have been one of those.
A real B side song was Yellow Submarine. Considering the impact of that song when it became a movie two years later, it would have to rank as an all time great B side regardless of its musical/lyrical merits. Right?

OfflineMy first thought was, of course, "Rain." But then I thought of "Old Brown Shoe" and "We Can Work it Out" and "I'm Down." So now I'm undecided.
Nah, "Rain" pwns.
mr. Sun king coming together said And yes, YouTube comments are stupid. But hilariously so.

Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby was a double A side.
It's hard to say for me, Revolution is brilliant and Rain is really good too. I think Revolution shades it.
Edit: I always forget I Am The Walrus in these discussions. That's my favourite.

OnlineBeatles b-sides were never your average 'b-side' quality. How This Boy could only be a b-side is insane.
Anyway. Favourite. I'll go for Old Brown Shoe. Classic George. Out of the norm and vastly underrated.

OfflineThat really is difficult isn't it -- naming a favourite B-side -- considering the quality of the material. Several years ago, I burned a CD consisting of just the B-sides of all their British singles (I counted "Day Tripper", "Yellow Submarine" and "Strawberry Fields" as B-sides, even though I believe they shared A-side status with their flipsides) -- and I thought to myself "man, if EMI released this, it would be a Number One seller -- what other artist could release an album of their B-sides and top the charts?").
Anyway, my favourite Beatle B-side is "Revolution" -- um.. or is it "I Am The Walrus"?…. or perhaps "Old Brown Shoe"… no….. "This Boy"… no, wait….
