Pretty funny how Sitar Soul didn't know about that other thread!  I agree that those long "Is it A or B?" threads are pretty pointless and counterproductive. But I can't go as far as some of you and claim that I don't care, because I DO care; I like to know the facts about who played/sang what. Not that I have any personal stake in either camp - like, I would'nt be disappointed (or relieved) to learn that it was actually Ringo, not Paul drumming on "Dear Prudence". But I still want to know.

This sounds like the start of another thread. If you could ask Paul or Ringo one question...

You're ALL wrong:  It's Billy J. Kramer! Sheesh!  Ohhhhh....different version.....sorrrrry.....

I thought they all had colds when they recorded the PPM album, PLUS they'd been recording all day: could that explain George's raspiness?

"The movement I need is on my shoulder?? What does that mean?!"

(One question wouldn't do it - I've got dozens!}

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!" -- Paul McCartney

I'd ask Paul "Would you marry me?" a-hard-days-night-paul-8

I'd ask Ringo "Would you marry me? Oh wait you're already married" a-hard-days-night-ringo-6

Why would John sang just that bit? a-hard-days-night-john-7

It's George. No doubt. Also some people says that Devil In Her Heart was sang by John and not George. a-hard-days-night-george-5

For me, both songs are George. a-hard-days-night-george-10

I was listening to Cry Baby Cry yesterday, and the opening lines sound a bit like George. I think they had similar voices.

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!
