I Am The Walrus gives me the serious creeps too. Especially the part with the fuzzy radio (or was it television? can't remember) dialogue. Eek!

I think George said in Anthology that there was a bottle on top of one of the speakers and when Paul hit a note on his bass the bottle started rattling.

Same here. I know what's coming so I kind of ''brace'' myself for it because it is a little scary.

I know I wouldn't like the song as much as I do if it didn't have that creepy ending though.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about that thread and I even replied in it! But that was not what I meant. I meant in general, because it's not only George's songs which are scary. He also helped making Revolution 9 for example.

@Parlance: Yeah I saw that on the section for What's The New Mary Jane in ''Songs''. They were planning to release it as Plastic Ono Band, apparently, but that couldn't happen.

I didn't know that either. I love You Know My Name (during Christmas I got the 7" for Let It Be and I have it hanging on a wall with the B-side of the sleeve facing out), but I never would have thought of that as a commercial release.

I've never seen anything to confirm or deny this, but was that tone on the CD reissues the same frequency as on the original vinyl? It's clearly audible on both the original '87 CD and the remaster. And as a result, I've always wondered if (a) the tone on the original vinyl issues was REALLY inaudible to humans; or (b) if the CD reissues purposely used a lower-frequency (but still audible) tone to confirm that yes, a tone was indeed present?

I find LOVE creepy. Well, not all of it, but certain things, like the guitar from Julia and then those noises, or the Blue Jay Way transition after Something, with the creepy Nowhere Man vocals and the carnival-ish noises (that's when the noises happen, right?).
