Will you accept Martha My Dear?

Ohh, Forgot that one.

I tried to think of something powerful and moving… and failed.  "You were given a choice between war and dishonor - you chose dishonor, and you shall have war" - Winston Churchill

OK – which Beatle said this on May 1st, 1970 (hint – you've got a 25% chance of guessing right)

" . . . I think that Beatle music is such a big sort of scene --
that I think it's the least we could do is to sacrifice three months of
the year at least, you know, just to do an album or two. I think it's
very selfish if the Beatles don't record together."

Wow, never encountered that quote before!  (I had to Google the answer out of curiosity.)

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!" -- Paul McCartney

Erm. Ringo?

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

I had to Google it too. Von Bontee's comment piqued my interest. Good question!

"We used the Monkees on a few tracks."

This isn't a trivia question, but Robert, do you know which tracks the mystery Beatle is speaking of? I know I saw Mike Nesmith on the video for A Day in A Life, but what else was he in? All You Need Is Love?

Or is John using the Monkees metaphorically? (The Monkees, incidentally, used The Beatles once when they used Good Morning Good Morning as their alarm clock in one episode.)
