Offline OK _ apology time – I did some fct chekcing and apparently I had some bad information – it was once believed that Peter Asher held the clipboard that held the lyrics to Dig A Pony during the roof performance in Let It Be . The guy kneeling down in front of John as John sang the song.
I believe a Rolling Stone article said that.
However I ust read an intgerview where Peter Asher says it wasn't him – so I'll take that as definitive and retract my question.
Fortunately Beatle people are very forgiving folks!
