I think they did a great job with the first game, but I just don't see what they could add to it other than new songs. Not much of a point, if you ask me.

We just bought Beatles Rock band on Ebay (Not the whole set unfortunately, just the game). I can't play at all, but my spouse is crazy good. I just watch him play and enjoy the visuals with the amazing music! :)

They would never make a second one. Nobody would buy it because all their usable popular songs are on the first one. Then, there are all those songs available to download. I think that's good enough.

And its been done. The Beatles were never about going back to something and repeating it over; most of their albums were about progress (i wouldnt say Yellow Submarine is) and two were never the same (unless you go to the compilations). Even with the films they refused the third scripts as they were either rewrites of Help! and/or awful scripts.
Get Dhanni on the phone and get a new idea on marketing the beatles to a younger generation.

You can buy John Lennon songs on Rock Band 3, and you can play piano. Playing piano along to "Imagine".. pretty cool.

I'd second that!
My wife and I and even our kids now that they're old enough, still love playing this. Just wish you could download EVERY song, but that's a minor quibble.

What's pro mode?
Pro mode, intruduced in Rock Band 3, is where you play the actual instrument part (cymbals and drums, guitar strings and frets, etc.) it would be really fun for Beatles songs.
