Good question, this is one for the overanalyst of Beatle pictures in all of us. Here goes, so John is just saying that he's basically the coolest dude ever, there's no mistaking that confident look. Paul is saying, I'm not quite there yet, but I see what you're seeing. George is saying, well what you two are seeing is okay, but this path to the left looks interesting and I think I'll follow it. Ringo is saying, wow am I stoned! I think I'd like to live with an octopus.

Wasn't it that they were trying to achieve some sort of abstract look on the cover of their album? Like, some weird angle. John looks amused about something. He probably stepped on Ringo's foot, making him look so…mad. George looks hungry. And Paul looks miffed and curious.

I salute the lady who screamed "I love you Paul!" at a tribute band's concert.
