Hi All

Some time ago I picked up a copy of Rubber Soul in a second hand shop.  When I got it home and examined it closely I noticed that on the credits "Harrisson" is spelled as shown.  The album was pressed in Sweden but I am wondering if the album is perhaps counterfeit – is there any other way of telling?  If the album is genuine, does the error make it more valuable?

Cheers

Gary

Welcome to the forum Gary! I would love to help you, but I would need to see a picture of the record. I'll do some research.

So far I found PCS-3075, and it's not misspelt. It would be easier for us if you give us this number found on the LP.

"And in the End the Love you take is equal to the Love you make"
"When I was a robber *Piano Chord* in Boston Place"
"Let's hope this turns out pretty darn good huh"
"Pete may be the best, but Ringo is the star"
Paul:"Don't be nervous John"
John:"I 'm not"

Have checked variations of PCS-3075 too, as shown here:  http://thebeatles-collection.com/wordpress/2011/07/16/rubber-soul-parlophone-pcs-3075/

That is an interesting misspelling. That may be worth something, but don't go by me. Albums with wrong labels don't go for much, but this is different.
