Does anyone know anything about Nancy Lee Andrews who was engaged to Ringo in 1975-80? I never heard of her. Apparently he cheated on her with Barbara Bach which led to a palimony suit against Ringo. Does anyone know of the details? Did Ringo settle and for how much?

No idea. Info about Ringo's parents (and particularly his father, as even he can't remember him) is scarce. I think his mom, Elsie, was an older woman when she had him, but I don't know for sure.

I've always wondered what his dad looked like and if he resembled him, as he didn't really resemble his mom.

Where did you find that out, if you don't mind me asking?

Visited the gravestones perhaps?

^ I don't think Zig's ever been to Liverpool (I think I once passed on some details about visting Mendips 'cause he said he really should go, that's why I say that).

This is due to my complete ignorance about Knighthood in England…but why has Ringo never been knighted? Also…can a woman be "knighted?" Just curious.

The simple reason is that Ringo has never been considered as having made an important enough contribution, or else has turned it down. The female equivalent of a Knighthood is a Damehood, so to cite one of our Olympians, as an example, Dame Kelly Holmes, has received the equivalent of a Knighthood.
