I'm reading on twitter and facebook (many of my friends) that Ringo is sick with pneumonia… that's why he didn't go with Paul to the Hollywood star and the Grammys.
Any official news on this? *biting her nails*

This is the only information I've seen, but yes his publicist has confirmed it's pneumonia.
Here's hoping it's not too serious. Get well soon, Ringo!

Really hoping he's okay, not to be a downer but pneumonia is quite dangerous when you're in your seventies. Get well soon, Ringo.

The good thing is that Ringo takes good care of himself and leads a very healthy lifestyle. But here's hoping for a speedy and complete recovery and that its not anything serious.

Get well rings.
He was always a sickly boy when growing up in the Dingle. Out sick for many tours…parts of India visit.
The oldest Beatle, he surprises all with his resilience.

Yeah, thats what i was thinking ITSWD but didnt want to say or go down that thought route. Have decided to go the positive healthy route unless otherwise stated but would be good to actually see Ringo.

If he's had pneumonia but is out of the danger zone I'd imagine he's taking it easy recovering. Don't expect any public appearances for a while. "He is absolutely great!" might sound a little over-positive but I wouldn't necessarily fear the worst.

A February Ringo video has been put out there and has Ringo in it feeling much better and on his feet. So yeahhh!!!!!! (the video is below). And Beatles Examiner also has an article on this for those who wish to read it. Really glad to see Ringo having a laugh on his video and doing well.
