Funny Paper:  Being a long time acoustic guitarist, I must ask:  Are you a fan of the Rosenberg Trio?

"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been..  I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene..  Banjos!  Banjos!  All the time, I can't forget that tune..  and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

Sorry, I never heard of the Rosenberg Trio.

My main influences on acoustic guitar are James Taylor and Paul Simon.

I've been practicing a lot all weekend, and I discovered that "I Should Have Known Better" is great for practicing!  The chords are simple, and it's a good practice going back from G to D fairly quick.  a-hard-days-night-john-1

Not to say that you're no good but I know how to play that one, so it must be easy!

Talking of guitar playing, I think my teacher's back from Thailand by now. Time for sore fingers again!

That doesn't sound right, it would be very awkward if you know what I mean.

Oh it's ok, I am very much a beginner.  I'm "getting better all the time" though!  a-hard-days-night-john-1

That hadn't registered when I wrote it, sorry. I don't think his Thai girlfriend will like that. a-hard-days-night-ringo-10

Thanks for the tip LHL -- I looked up the Rosenberg Trio and it's nice, breezy jazzy stuff, with a hint of Brazilian!
