<p>Spent some time yesterday doing critical listening to some Beatles material. Ended up comparing "It's All Too Much" 2009 remaster to the Yellow Submarine Songtracks 1999 remix (I also did an extensive comparison of "Hey Bulldog" on the two aforementioned albums).</p>
<p>The verdict? 2009 remaster kicks ass on the 1999 remix!</p>

<p>The 1999 remix sounds incredibly pale and wimpy compared to the high octane 2009 remaster. There is clinical clarity to George's vocals on the 1999 remix that completely ruins the song's extremely ecstatic overjoyed mood. The dirty and extremely raunchy overdriven guitar has been toned down, cleaned up, and castrated ...]]></description>
