I just found out that the basic tracks of Polythene Pam and She Came In Through The Bathroom Window were recorded on my birthday exactly 30 years before I was born and I am quite happy about this because She Came In Through The Bathroom Window is one of my favourite Beatles songs. Are there any beatles songs that were recorded on your birthday?

Not the same year but the Get Back sessions started on the same date, January 2nd. Not sure if thats a good thing or not tho.

I wonder if anyone was born on the same date as their favourite beatle song was recorded.

"Norwegian Wood" (and a first, unused attempt at "Nowhere Man") were recorded on my birthday, but two years before I was actually born. However, the flutes on "The Fool On The Hill" as well as "Hello Goodbye"'s violas were recorded on my ACTUAL day of birth. (LOL I am old!)

Only Getting Better was recorded on my birthday. Early March, so they were filming in 64 and 65 and doing nothing the rest of the time (though they played a show in 63).

And I neeeeeeeeed her all the time

Thirty years before I was born Getting Better was recorded. I found this out from The Beatles Rock Band.

Sadly, not a single song was recorded on my birthday… ahdn_george_05

However, if we can take mixing into account, guess whose birthday "Hey Jude" was mixed on?!

Aww..just checked. No B-day recording or mixings for me. :(
There were alot of performances though, especially in their earlier stages.
So I guess my birthday isn't so bad after all. :P

The songs 'played' by the Beatles on day 5 of the Get Back sessions. Cool list Long John.

The only Beatles song recorded on my birthday is one of their very best -- "Here Comes The Sun".

They also released the single "All You Need Is Love"/"Baby You're A Rich Man" on my birthday (which is also Ringo's birthday!).

And John & Paul were introduced to each other the day before my birthday… so that's close enough!  lol

I've got nothing to say, but it's okay.. GOOD MORNING! GOOD MORNING!! GOOD MORNING!!!

Wow Long John, that's quite a list!

They never recorded anything on my birthday :(

It's not all that impressive considering a) none of those songs will ever be released, and b) they all sound shit!
Unfortunately, on my birthday in 1969, they weren't recording, they were too busy convincing Harrison to return to the band (which he agreed to do on my birthday) to record anything.
Edit: Von (or IMDe Walrus as well) may be the only person to truly get it, but imagine being born on July 1st, 1967, in Canada. Pepper was released, and it was the centennial of Canada. That would be awesome!

The Get Back sessions are one of those mind benders. Having the chance to hear in usually great sound quality the greatest band on Earth rehearsing for hours and days, playing old and new songs. Sounds like a wonderful experience. Yet its such a difficult and often monotonous task.  Would  be far better being the 30th and the Rooftop Concert.

Thats why im torn on whether its a good or bad thing having the 2nd January. The Christmas shows were also happening on the 2nd January i believe (not that ive looked it up) back in 1964 and 1965, can i take those instead?

The basic track of Inner Light was recorded exactly 30 years before I was born.
One year earlier additional instruments were recorded for Penny Lane.

Sont des mots qui vont très bien ensemble.
