I don't know; AFAIK it was mainly GIs who were asking for them, and so counterfeiters put them out to satisfy demand. Probably others were Beatles fans too, but the primary market was US soldiers. It's not something I know a great deal about TBH.

It's a Taiwanese counterfeit, from around 1965. Apparently they were produced mainly for US GIs stationed there, so many Taiwanese pressings found their way to America. None of the releases were official (hence there's no Taiwan discography on my site), but there were various titles produced there.

From what I can see, it doesn't look Korean. It's not clear enough to say if it is Japanese or Chinese, but me and are leaning Japanese.

I bought the record from someone and it is in the mail now. I don't know all the details about the record yet because I haven't seen it in person, but I know it is a PLEASE PLEASE ME album that is a 12" Orange Vinyl Record. All the writing on the label is either in Japanese or possibly Korean. The only English on the label is the list of songs on both sides. It is a stereo version and is from the early to mid 1960's. It also has The Beatles misspelled as "The Beattes." The company that produced it ...
