Note by Ahhh Girl: No, you haven’t entered the Twilight Zone. meanmistermustard did write the rest of this post (and it took him a long time and a lot of hard work to do it). I just happened to be the one to move it to this new thread so that’s why my avatar is on the post. This may get even weirder. Hang on for the ride. mmm is referring to the Beatles Dreams thread in the next sentence.
Note by meanmistermustard: i accidently deleted this thread, for all that is lost and for any reduced post counts i apologise profusely. Work is currently being undertaken on getting as much as possible back as quickly as possible.

You would have loved to be there at that train station. Heck, I wouldn’t need to hope on the train when they’re playing! Do you remember any songs they played?

I had a dream that I was in a hall and I was sitting adjacent to the stage in some elevated position with my back to it. I was facing the audience and could turn around and have a good view of the stage too. Beyond a few rows of chairs was seated John Lennon 
and he was asking around for a pencil. I was about to toss him a pencil but he had caught somebody else’s already. Then I noticed that John already had a pencil with him and I mouthed the words, “But you already have yours!” , to which he replied, “Darling, theres a difference between subjective (and) objective reality!”. He said it in an irritated manner but at that moment I turned around blushing at the way he addressed me. LOL.
….
The other day I had a dream that two hosts were sitting on a sofa. One was announcing something but was very jumpy, kept crossing his legs over and over and another host had to cut in to finish the sentences. Then I saw George mimicking the jumpy host after which he and I started laughing hysterically. And then I woke up feeling my lips stretched in a smile.

There are plans to use the above links to copy and paste all the surviving posts back, if anyone wants to help please let me know and we can sort of out how to go about it. Again i can only apologise for all that you have lost and try my damned to ensure such a mistake does not happen again.
Its quite something to see so many folks not only being so understanding over this but also coming together to put back together such a massive thread. Surely this shows its more than just a forum to many on here.

Offline I had hoped to be able to help out here after a phone call from America. Working on a totally jerry-rigged power supply at the moment. Bare wire wrapped around the break in the wire, another (covered) wire tied around it to hold a working position. Unfortunately, it seems as if the time without power has lost me my cache. I’ve checked on every browser I use, and am only getting the latest pages. I think it’s probably because I was logged in when the laptop went down.
Just want to say to @meanmistermustard not to worry though. You’re not alone in, finding yourself with mod tools, accidentally hits the wrong one.
Anyone who finds a missing page, please save and then link.

Offline I’m headed off to a BBQ, but just wanted to note that I’ve saved the cached pages 1-41 to my computer and I’m backing up the files to my external drive. I know @Ahhh Girl is working on that too.
If anyone else is volunteering to help with copying and pasting of the posts back into this thread (which @meanmistermustard is organizing), I would suggest saving them as well, so you can open the pages directly from your hard drive when you need them.

We can rebuild the thread for the most part! This will run up the post counts of those who work on reconstructing the thread.
Question, do we want to do a post by post reconstruction
*OR*
make all the posts on page 1 be one long post. All the posts on page 2 could be one long post. etc. The words in the thread would still be searchable. I’m wondering if this would save time on the reconstruction (if that is an issue for anyone). However, we do have all the posts saved offline so we can take the time to rebuild all the building blocks one-by-one. I will go with the group.
Once we decide on what to do and how to do it, we can either delete all the posts in this thread *or* make a new thread and save this one for posterity’s sake.

Offline Personally if we’re going to do it i’d rather do it post by post (why i’m typing that i don’t know, i’d knackered and thought horrifies me). How? I don’t know. I thought folks work in their own thread (marked clearly so forum users know whats going on) and we piece them back together instead of having folk posting in the same thread as it might lead to confusion and headaches at the stitching together part but i don’t know if thats practical or not here.
Anyone with any thoughts?
I have nothing saved on my computer. I did the first one as a complete, looked at the mess and thought against it. I’m going by blind faith the cached pages will remain. If not i think i’ll break.

Offline I’m up for post-by-post. mmm, when you are fresher tomorrow, make a new thread with the title Beatles Dreams Reconstruction Notes and move these posts to it.
Then do one page of the post-by-post reconstruction to show the rest of us who will be working on it how you want it done. We can pick it up from there.
We can keep the discussion regarding the project in the “Notes” thread. Any posts not a part of the reconstruction will be moved out of the dreams thread to keep it tidy.
I will be out of pocket this weekend as far as helping out. But come Monday evening after work, I can dedicate some time to the project.
an addition:
mmm, I had a thought, and I tested it out. I decided I better go ahead and create that new thread and put your main first post into it. If you had moved all of the posts in this thread to a new thread, this thread would be deleted. That might not be a big problem, but I thought we might want to keep the thread title.?.?
If you do like my idea and go that route, only move posts 2-end into the new thread. Leave post 1 here and then edit it to put Sunii’s post into it.

Offline We will all have to take turns to make this work so that the posts stay in order. Once mmm does some initial posts to show us the way, then the next person will take a turn, and so forth.
Let’s allow mmm to get one page done, then he can work out what is best for him to keep his cadre of volunteers straight on their times and duties.

Offline If we’re doing it post by post I was thinking that each each user should get, for example every fifth post. We need to have something to avoid posting the same one twice and posting out of order. Maybe if we are assigned a user we can do their posts whenever they come up.
