Beatles 3000

Considering how sketchy our knowledge of the year 1010 is, this YouTube clip might be eerily correct in a thousand years. But for now, it is a hoot. It is a documentary about the Beatles as created in the year 300, with all of the misunderstandings and amalgamations future scholars might make. Especially after so many records were sacrificed to Emperor Gorlakk.  Enjoy!

Hahaha! That was excellent, very creative on their part. It does get you thinking though- I myself always find myself wondering how our world can progress anymore, that things could (and will) differ dramatically in the future. Where do the Beatles fit into that? I mean, maybe even in the 17th century there was a world-sweeping victorian minstrel that changed everything for the music world, and we'll never know of them! Wink

Tongue, lose thy light. Moon, take thy flight… see ya, George!

This video is great. It’s a documentary from the year 3000 looking back on this ancient group called the Beatles.

That was a favorite in the LOLs thread. I was just thinking of that one a few days ago.

I’m trying to find out the date when it first hit me that The Beatles were cool, but it is proving harder than I thought…

Kind of weird to quote myself but anyway…

I found the date, Yay! It’s January the 30th, 45 years after the Rooftop concert!

I knew it was a hoax just 7 seconds in when the guy said “firsthand records are certainly scarce”. After all, Lewisohn’s third and final edition of All Those Years would have been published mere months before that Year 3000 documentary.

And the final CD (or whatever the going media is in 3000) of Paul’s Archive collection would have been released just a few days before a-hard-days-night-paul-11
