I would have went to see John if I had had the option of all 4. I think he had more of a presence on stage (im not saying Paul doesn't, I saw him in Glasgow and it was beyond amazing. Just unbelievably brilliant). I see the Beatles live and for me its John who stands out. But that's in hindsight and having seen Paul and Ringo already.

It's funny: Back in October I was on vacation visiting my mum when the Magical Mystery Tour DVD was released, and I said "Cool! I hope it's in the store when I get home!" And it was! And now here I am on vacation again…and I hope that Rockshow DVD's in the store when I get home!

I'm still hoping Funny Paper will review the thing and tell us if it compares to her memory of the show (which she saw LIVE, don'tcha know)

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!" -- Paul McCartney

Zig said, "Yikes! Just now seeing your post, Doc – sorry for the delay."

No problem – equal delays on this end.

I think that if I were to run a "School of Rock" class, that Rockshow DVD would be a must. Even songs I don't care for on the (studio) recording come to life in spectacular fashion.

The artifice of bringing the 3 guitarists close together during the acoustic set really works. I'm surprised he hasn't done that since ( or has he?)

Yes, McC really "brings it on."
