OfflineBecause Joe isn't Superman. He can't do 50 things at once, and he prefers John Solo stuff to Paul's, hence his increased John writing.

OfflineI usually don't speak for others in this Forum, but if I recall correctly, I believe the "Paul" section is still under construction.
Joe did a fantastic job with the recently-completed-but-always-updated "John" section. I have no doubt the Paul section will be just as good.
I'm not sure if a "George" section is in the plans, but I sure hope so!
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.

Okay…I wasn't criticizing…just wondering because I would love to read info on his stuff. I didn't mean to offend, as it sort of sounds like I did in your response.

He's working on it as becomes… topicable? They release a remastered album, someone sends him a book to review, inspiration hits, etc., he writes an article or a review.

OfflineOh! I almost forgot about that.
BOT: Red Rose Speedway randomly comes up on my Zune. I haven't labeled all of them (I know, bad skye), and since I don't I know it as well as say BotR (there goes some more Paul points), I don't always recognize it as Paul. But it does sound Beatle-ish, which usually gets my attention. Am I the only one?

OfflineThanks all. Yep, basically I don't have time to tackle McCartney's massive back catalogue. The Lennon one took about three solid months of writing, and I don't know if I'll be able to do the rest. Maybe one day, but we're looking at years away rather than months.
As mentioned above, I've got a baby on the way. Before he arrives in May I'm finishing off the history section up to the end of 1970 (currently putting the finishing touches to the Abbey Road sessions). After that I might sneak off to write the odd article here and there, but I'll most likely consider the bulk of the site to be complete, done and dusted. So please don't be surprised if the Harrison/McCartney sections never really happen.
That said, if the site ever makes enough money for me to be able to give up the day job, expect articles galore. I don't know if that'll ever happen, but I live in hope.

Thanks for all the hard work Joe. We all really appreciate all you have done. This is still the best Beatles site on the internet.

Well that would be a shame. Anyway I think the Beatle stuff you have work is just amazing. And it's a fantastic .. how do you say it? companion to the albums. I sometimes open the songs section while listening to them.

Offline(Yes, this is really shameless promotion – I don't give a shit.) I noticed Joe had done some more McCartney album pages. So, enjoy Ram, Wings Over America, Wings At The Speed of Sound and Venus and Mars. I know i enjoyed these (and Joe, now I know why all those questions about the WOA credits.
