a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Good one, sky090909!!! I'll take one with lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

Take that with a Margarita?

Answer me this first: Have you found his lost shaker of salt? Aw, heck, I ain't waitin' around for your answer. Margarita. Now. Pronto.

*passes Margarita*

Yes, it was on Penny Lane

Was the salt shaker in the possession of Dr. Robert for any length of time?

Yes, but then he gave it to Polythene Pam.

Well, I'm sure there's nothing left in it then. She's such a party girl. Girl, did you hear about that time that Eleanor Rigby overdosed during one of Pam's parties? She made it back to the church to go to confession, but she died before she could talk to Father McKenzie.

Why didn't Mean Mr. Mustard keep that shaker away from his sister?

Well you see, Mister City Policeman had to come to take it away because Mean Mr. Mustard was he was throwing salt at people while shouting obscene words. This is how it got into the possession of Doctor Robert. He then gave some to Pam as a Day Tripper, but that wasn't enough. Pam, had one of the Apple Scruffs climb through Dr. Robert's bathroom window and steal the shaker.

Lol

Dr. Robert was working for the police department as a drug examiner before quitting to get himself a steady job.

I'd ask him how the hell he didn't know he was jamming with the remains of Nirvana when they did "Cut Me Some Slack"? That's the best song he's done since "Junior's Farm".

Nice one - coincidentally I only read about the Nirvana thing last night  - very interesting.  And welcome to the boards.

Yeah, sky090909 and I got to rolling on that one.  We sorted the matter out. No need for you to hurt your head trying to figure it out.

Edit: You are a smart cookie. I shouldn't have slighted you so easily. Sorry about that. I'm sure you can figure out the conversation.

I'm getting my lawyer in to see if I have a lawsuit case here, undue association to a debatable accusation (if Apple can sue over anything dubious then we should learn to do the same). I'm very happy to settle before it gets to that point, my demands are a curly-wurly, Paul's new album and a can of sugar-free irn bru.

To get back on topic: Paul, are there any albums or songs you have released that you look back on and think "that wasn't that great" or would like to rerecord?

When do we get a sequel to 'Give My Regards To Broad Street', it's been 19 years since the first release?

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8That's why I wrote "undue association", it's a very dubious claim but i'm sure a lawyer will take it on for a bite of the curly-wurly and swig of irn bru when we win.

My two cents on Buffett/McCartney: "Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw" and "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?."  They could switch from one to the other thru-out the song.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 That could work

Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw in the Road or Why Don't We Get Drunk and Do It in the Road?

I'm happy for an out of court settlement.

Hey Sky, thanks for negotiating a settlement with MMM. I'll spring for the cd to keep him happy. I'll even throw one in for you for all your hard work while I was out playing/celebrating.

Ha ha. Cute.

*puff* Are you sure this stuff is legal in Oz? You wouldn't be trying to get us into trouble would you?

Back on topic:

Paul, when you start naming the number one songs you've had, and you are using your fingers to go along with the count, which finger do you start with?

Would you sing me a lullaby tonight?
