I crammed (all separately) three last questions: the Ringo, Who did the Ahhs…, and favorite childhood memory.

I thought of asking the Ahhhs question, but since it seemed “New” specific, I decided otherwise.

It would be funny if he suddenly follows Ringo, then we can say the Beatles Bible is responsible. ;-D

Now this answer should be interesting

just asked: “what do you think about the fact a large amount of your current fans are teenagers?”

*should* is the key word here

his answer : “I’m amazed, amused & happy. The band & I are very surprised at what a beautiful young audience we attract!”

I asked probably 25 questions but no answers :( Oh, well, it was still a lot of fun!

On an unrelated note, early this morning I got followed on twitter by Tony Bramwell! Pretty cool.

He’s all done. Some lucky fan won a signed CD and he tweeted a vine of him signing it…technology is so cool sometimes!

Yeah, I misread it. He said he will do again sometime so, maybe there is hope.

Wait wait, he said he will get to some in the coming days. :D

He answered some questions via DM? Weh?

That was… short and strange.

Edit: Just saw sky090909’s comment, nevermind. But I didn’t even see a question from the fan who won the CD. Still very random and odd.

I didn’t see a lot of questions being posted, but then again there were so many.

Most of the time I saw the answer right after the RT of the question. But looking at the link you posted, it appears Paul did answer that Giles question, but it doesn’t show up on his feed unless you expand the link. I don’t spend a lot of time on Twitter and didn’t know it could be so glitchy.

Yeah, I saw the RTs and few outside of that like yours. I think I saw yours when I clicked on the hashtag one time.

Hey, Paul, do you like this selection I picked out?

Press
At the Mercy
Universal Here, Everlasting Now
Lifelong Passion

Baby It’s You
Every Little Thing
All Together Now
Two of Us
Love Me Do
Eight Days a Week
She’s Leaving Home

I don’t know the solo work by the other 3 very well, so I refrained from making name poems for them. Any of their work from any period is game for their name. We can move this to another thread if need be and if others want to make up name poems for Paul, the Beatles, or the other three.

The following people thank Ahhh Girl for this post:

I’d wonder as to what he felt like taking over Stu on bass.

"White Album - My joint-fave Beatles album along with Revolver. They show the two sides of Beatles. Revolver's very controlled - even though it's also very innovative. The White Album's playful and almost ramshackle. It's like a scrapbook kept by a genius. Fantastic stuff."

Seeing as how there was some consternation between Paul & Stu and the fact that Stu was not a good bass guitarist (by his own admission), I’ll bet Paul felt pretty good about it. It was John who didn’t want Stu to leave the group.

I don’t really think it’s as simple as that, and I believe Paul has often expressed as much. He has said before that in wanting Stu out he was thinking about the band, and was sometimes unnecessarily harsh towards Stu, and he has also said – no matter how important a player of the instrument he went on to become – the last thing he wanted was to be the bass player, but John and George refused to take over on the instrument. So while he felt the band was stronger with Stu no longer on bass, he hadn’t planned on himself having to take on the instrument. You have to take into account that the bass was not considered a star instrument on which you could show off your prowess as a musician at that time.
