I don't know excactly what his highest note would be, but he did some nice high falsetto screaming in songs like "Why don't we do it on the road" or "Hey Jude".
 

I think what he does in "Get On The Right Thing" goes higher.  Near the beginning of my 45-second sample of the song, and towards the end you can hear him going way up high:

But back to the topic - I have always been impressed with his range as well as John's. One of the things my wife loves best about The Beatles is the fact that they could all sing - at least to some degree. Between Paul and John, there wasn't a note that could not have been reached.
