There’s some guy on YouTube who seems rather preoccupied with dragging Paul through the mud. He calls himself “DiseasedManiac” (DM). On YouTube, this DM character has posted a long video of Paul mostly backstage and schmoozing with various people in diferent places (a video apparently produced and filmed by Paul’s people). This video that DM has posted is supposed to prove that Paul has a “massive ego”.
What’s ironic to me is that the video actually shows Paul is quite centered and sociable and affable. Sure, he may seem to be something of a center-of-attention seeker at times, and he does have a bit of a cocky attitude, but not to any inordinate degree, I think. Also, context is important: this video isn’t a real-time 24-hour reality video: it’s edited and spliced and only showing certain moments in Paul’s days; and Paul knows the camera is running. And this is a video that’s supposed to be about Paul! So what is he supposed to do? Purposefully bow out and go sit on a sofa in the corner and not talk to anyone?
Also, you can tell with certain people that when they are talking to Paul, either one-on-one or in a small circle, that they are quite intimidated to be in his presence, and they seem to clam (it was almost painful to watch the comedian Jim Carrey look like a startled shy puppydog with his tongue tied unable to say anything) — so Paul just goes ahead and dominates the conversation. I suppose Paul could go out of his way to ask THEM questions and draw stuff out of THEM, and maybe he is taking advantage of situations like this to talk about himself; but at the end of the day, that seems to be quibbling. (I did notice amusingly at one point in the video that when the Master Schmoozer Bill Clinton came back to some green room where Paul was hanging out, Bill with his smooth, smarmy charisma quickly dominated the situation even over Paul…!)

Offline P.S.: I meant to mention, at the YouTube place where the video is posted, there are over 1,700 comments, and some of them are quite interesting and informative (the main poster, “DiseasedManiac” has a lot of comments himself, slinging mud about Paul and posting various dubious links and insinuations (e.g., that Denny Laine “exposed” Paul in a Sun story, etc.). Mostly, the comments defending Paul seem to be the most reasonable to me; but I certainly didn’t read all the comments (I like to waste time on the Web, but I gotta draw the line somewhere…!).

I’ve seen that on my related videos list. It outraged me so much I refused to pander into their schemes and click on it. 
There are adjectives for people who do things like that, but I’m too polite to use them.

Compare Paul’s achievements to any other popular artist working either in movies or as an author or painter……It’s hard to think of anyone that can actually compare…. Elvis, perhaps the highest selling single artist ever…….. but he never wrote even one of his songs……..and ended up a diapered recluse…..Brando?…..Van Gough?……Jackson……..Yoko!!
Paul’s life has been well spent his legacy assured. The something close to a lifetime of adoration must have affected him………But that essentially ‘Paul’ Paul still needs our affection and works to give his best and never rest on his laurels.
He and Linda could have had a Mayweather type house house…….and fleets of Rolls Royces. Instead they chose to have a home.
Paul was always a little bit naff…….He hasn’t changed…….I think his mum and dad would be very proud of how he’s kept to his roots………considering!

OMG… I just realised something.
That video description by the video poster is the EXACT same text a certain troll posted on here a few years ago (I’ve been making my way through some old topics). So either this Diseased Maniac character is the same person as our self-proclaimed journalist/troll, or he’s been on Beatles Bible at some point.

Offline I guess my main point with this topic is that the Paul-basher in putting up that video on YouTube didn’t realize that his “evidence” actually mostly demonstrated the opposite of what he intended — i.e., Paul comes across as quite a genial and engaging chap, with only a soupçon here and there of something one might think is in the ballpark of being arrogant or “egotistic”. Plus, I’d never seen that video before, so I was glad he’d posted it so I could enjoy it (in a way he never intended — but screw him!
)
I get the sense that Paul is one of those types of people who is rather a “fuss-budget” and likes to micromanage his environment and might at times appear to be a bit “bossy” etc. (I have a close personal friend who is that way, and it can be at times fetching, and at other times rather annoying…) But these are hardly capital crimes let alone even remarkable misdemeanors; only (at most) harmless matters of personality interest.
