Recently I've been very fond of "(I Want To) Come Home", "Too Much Rain" and "End of the End." I think Paul's recent forays into wistful piano balladeering have been really mature and moving lyrically and musically.

It's better than what I seem to remember.

It's got the classical music "drop" at the beginning and then the "anti-drop" at the end.

The classical instruments play variations of the various melodies in the song, there are changes in tempos, some good riffs - very McCartney-esque.

If you heard it for the first time without knowing what album it was off, could you guess? Could you guess what decade?

For me, the extremely optimistic (and sincere) tone of the song overrides any potential annoyance at the "cute" vocals. The brass/synth lines in the instrumental break are really great too.

I was smiling to Pauls - it must looked stupid, hehe. I love their moves (esepcially the piano-gay at the ending of official clip.), but I find the altred vocal that you've mentioned Joseph S. quite annoying - I enjoy paul in his rocky-lke versions. that was too 'sweetie', but still, fun to listen.
